Editorial Methodology

This page documents our editorial and statistical approach to tournament mapping. All content across the domain is bound by these principles.

1. The Fixed-Snapshot Standard

All tournament records, scores, match statuses, and routing profiles are frozen as of 7 July 2026. No subsequent results, squad changes, or real-time score updates are integrated. This ensures a stable reference archive for research and historic review.

2. Strict Neutrality Directive

Our editorial guidelines prohibit terms that assign subjective strengths or probabilities. For example:

• No team is referred to as "favorite" or "underdog."
• No squad is described as "stronger" or "more likely to win."
• No outcome is framed as a "surprise."

3. Rejection of Predictions

We do not produce predictive models, probability calculations, or speculative outcomes. For matches that have not reached resolution on our snapshot date, we use precise scheduling terms such as "scheduled", "will play", and "winner advances" without bias.

4. Mathematical Traceability

Calculations, including our "Campaign in Numbers" widgets, are strictly derived from the listed fixtures in our verified dataset. We do not incorporate external factors, historical head-to-head records, or qualifiers to prevent data inflation.
